What a great blog! Thanks for sharing your epic story of tri struggle, survival, and sane training. I loved your IM Moo race report/s! I also appreciated the 4-11 about those bike stickers---I just brought my first precious carbon bike home last week and wanted to do the same thing...you'd think they could invest in some of those "do not remove under penalty of law" tags...of course, that would create drag. I did finally figure out how to get the reflectors off of the spokes without snapping them, which was some kind of victory. Best wishes for your continuing training and racing!
Thanks for the good wishes, and for reading! I now feel as if my efforts here have not been in vain, having saved at least one person from the same horrible fate that Sálome suffered with the "Sticker Tragedy," as we refer to it. Congratulations on tackling the Dreaded Reflector Issue so successfully!
Watch as Tasha gamely attempts to qualify for THE Ironman in Kona, relying primarily on exercise equipment purchased through infomercials or on "As Seen On TV!" websites......
....while simultaneously saying a hearty "fuck you" to cancer!
And of course, making the bespoke, artisan, snarky and political boozy jam that's sweeping the nation, found here at The Canning Underground.
